General Dx9 Black - Stick Centering

I don't manage with this topic.
I have my travel on all channels set to 100 / 100

But, my center stick, for pitch / throttle is NOT at 50% or zero, my elevtor is 1 not zero...

Any suggestions?

two things to try:

  1. Do a stick calibration on the Tx (read manual for how)
  2. If still showing a center error in the Spirit software you can use sub-trim in the Tx. (this is the one and only occasion you can use sub-trim in the Tx when setting up a FBL)

I calibrated all the controls, but the limits on pitch and throttle are showing 96, not 100 at each end.
Is this important?
If so, why?

Thanks

It's not critical, but you can easily get it to 100% by increasing servo travel in the Tx servo setup screen.

yes, I can do that, but still wonder
1) is that not going to upset Spirit?
2) Other than just looking good, is there any practical reason?

I don't mind doing it, it will just take 2 minutes, but why?

The Spirit software is expecting to see 100% travel and the design of the stabilisation algorithms are based on that input. If the signal it receives is less than 100% the FBL wont work optimally. Truth is, in practical terms if it's only a few % it wont make any noticeable difference. but if your going to do something why not do it 'right' rather than 'near enough'.
