Spektrum DX8 Voltage

I have the 2 cell 4000mah Turnigy Tx lipo in my DX8. What kind of voltage should I expect to see at "full charge"?

8.2v Derek, don't get much more than that out of my gens ace lipo, freshly charged,

Just waiting to charge mine up now actually,

My DX8 used to get about 8.4v I've upgraded to DX9 and it gets 8.3v both with the Turnigy LiPo, they both drop below 8v quickly but hold charge in the mid 7v for weeks, the DX9 discharges quicker than the DX8 did but has a lot more going on like voice notifications etc.

My DX8 came with a lithium-ion (not lipo) battery. Anyone have experience with that? Hold charge well? What voltage alert is appropriate for that? Thx

Yeah, the one that came in my DX9... So far I dig it... Last a good long while.

leave the low voltage as per the default

battery life ok but so much better with a lipo,

plus I bought the charge cable when I bought my lipo so I could charge it on my proper charger not in the tx
