General DX7 and Apprentice S 15e

Hi all,
I am new to fixed wing flying and recently picked up the Apprentice. The reason I liked it was the ability to change between 3 different flight modes. The manual states that the switch for changing between Beginner, Intermediate and Experienced is on Channel 5/Gear. The problem comes up that on the DX7 the swithes are not listed 1 thru 5 nor by name. Which one is the Channel 5/Gear switch? Anyone have a clue or will I have to bind the transmitter and flip switches measuring the throw of the Rudder, Elevator and Ailerons?

Which version of the DX7 do you have?

If it's the new one then the switches are assignable and so you can set any switch you want to the gear channel. It's all in the channel assignment menus (read the manual)

Thank you, I had thought that was the case. I just didn't want to mess anything up.
