Spektrum DX6i Throttle Lock toggle for Electric Planes

Our club has had a few injuries caused by electric motors starting unexpectedly when the stick is bumped accidentally. While Spektrum radios above 6 channel have throttle lock capabilities, the DX6i does not in airplane mode.
The link below is to a story I did on replacing the throttle Cut pushbutton with a toggle switch. It is important to remember that you have to enable the Throttle Cut button for any of this to work. Why that button is not enabled from the factory escapes me.

Replace the EX6i Throttle Cut Pushbutton with a Toggle

That is a GREAT idea right there! Helicopters are dangerous enough, but people often over look the fact that an airplane is spinning, what is effectively a razor blade, faster than the head of a helicopter. It can do some serious damage if it hits you. I know quite a few people that are now using "chicken sticks" because they had the tip of their fingers taken off when starting a nitro or gas airplane. This is the same concept, but for electric. Keep that prop from spinning at all cost.
