Does Anyone Else Go Through Different Types Of Rc Cycles ?

I started off maybe 8 years ago trying to learn to fly Helicopters. during the flybar days. I still have to this day 3 Trex 450's, 1 Trex 500 and 1 Trex 600. they literally worried me to death about crashing. but I did have fun. Then I got into the Warbird Planes phase. Then I got into EDF Jets. Next came the FPV Drone Racing thing. Now I'm back to Helicopters. The electronics now make them a lot easier to fly. I got a couple of the Blade 230s Heli's with the SAFE help. and I have learned to fly them pretty frikkin' good. I'm building 2 Fusion 270's now. I'm trying to learn to setup the flybarless systems. I'm having a Good time

Anyone else go through these cycles ?

Yeah started in 1960 with free flight gliders & rubber powered, then powered free flight followed by control line, then discovered girls, after about 8 years control line again then another break the radio control fixed wing, slope soaring sail planes, back to RC fixed wing, ,8 year break then battery improvement and helicopters to present day.

Not me, for the most part. I started with helicopters and never really looked back. I do have a couple of planes, but I only got those because one of the clubs I`m in has contests once in a while.

I'm kind of rotate through hobbies in general. On the RC side of the house I'm a plane and new(ish) quad guy. Ive been working on my quad the last couple weeks and today started back working on my Biplane so it evens out. For the most part if I don't jump between projects I tend to get bored then loose interest for awhile.

exactly, I tend to get bored. I hate that I do …. it just happens. I'm trying to build 2 Heli's right now. when I get home from work it is already dark. just not able to get into it ?
