General Difference between 550 and 600?

Is it true that the only differencd between 550 and 600 is the tail boom!? Lhs guy told me that. Is that so?

What is better?? (apart from that bigger is better idea..) like are the parts more expensive or harder to find of one than the other?

GABA, stop listening to know it alls lol. A 550 is a 550. And a 600 is a 600. They are not the same!!

Seriously though Gaba. The difference is in the performance. The 550 is a lot lighter so it flys well on 6S batteries. With a 600 its possible to fly 6S like i do but the performance is not really there. You need to set up a 600 on 8,10 or 12S to get the same performance you get with 6S on the 550.
So for cost effective flying the 550 is much lighter on the wallet.

I'm running 6s on my 600. Turnslys 5000, 30 to 45 c. I have a hard time getting them under the canopy. I had to re do the battery mount to make them fit.
