SUCCESS!! After setting up my Blade CX3 onto the DX6i I felt that by using those settings I'd try setting up my old E-sky E500 onto the DX6i, similar to thier Big Lama. First was to get rid of the Esky electronics, I installed an Eflite AR6115E transmitter I had on hand and an Eflite 3 in 1 control unit, EFLH1023. After some minor adjustments its a flier.
Now I have an indoor CX for orientation practice and a CX for outdoors, calm days only. This should reduce the almost heart attacks when I practice orientation hovers with my 450.
