ESC Cutting wires on ESC

Hey guys,

I have to switch the bullet connectors around on my ESC. Is it ok to cut the wires or do I have to heat up the connectors.
I'm still learning how to solder and would love to see some how to videos on soldering male and female bullet connectors.

You can cut the ESC wires but it's better to just heat the old bullets and remove them. That way the end of the wire is still tinned with solder.

WARNING Never cut the motor wires. They have a heat prood lacquer coating that is almost impossible to remove so you are unlikely to ever get a good solder joint. If you want to change the bullets just heat and remove the old ones.
