Hey guys!

Could someone tell me what video format to download for this site. Mine is too large (mp4) for uploading videos.....? X_X

Anyway here's some pics of my recent flight of my new foamy.

Moved to the picture section instead of the camera section.

To post a video, you need to upload it to youtube or the like and post the link here on the forum. Unfortunately we do not have the space on the server for direct uploads of videos.

And the plane looks really good. Can't wait to see the video.

Look very nice. Like a sort of Warmliner style. Whats the power train in it. Looks like it could be fast, although the wing profile is a bit chunky for full on speed. Great job mate.

The plane is 30" x 30"

1150kv motor
2200mah 11.1v Lipo
9x6 prop
30 amp esc

Bad news, on my last flight I was blinded by the sun and nose planted it! i've put some pictures here that I took from my iphone velcro'd to my hat. I would have had a video of the on board crash except the shaft from the motor went through my camera, right through the sd card.....

I also have a picture here of my camera mounted just in front of the wing. I wasn't thinking at the time about crashing, I was hoping to get some good video but the sun had different plans.
Note to self: Don't fly by the sun!! LOL I'm in the process of putting a new nose on her and had to order a new motor, 1800kv which will help with weight in the nose that I need instead of adding sticky back weight! Motor should be here Tuesday butthe weather is looking pretty frigid next week. Boooo!!!

We have all learned the "Sun" lesson at one time or another. High noon is the worst time (I think) that you could possibly fly since the sun is right there at the top of the sky and there is just no way to get out of it. Hope you get it repaired or rebuilt soon, and hope to see some video. Sucks about the camera.

Thanks Tony

One thing nice about foamy's....you can always rebuild them. I had the exact same camera that needed a lens so it will be working again on my next flight. I'm still looking into youtube videos and hope to upload some in the near future. Plane is ready to fly as soon as my motor comes in on Tuesday. Trying to keep sane by flying my little Syma 107 in the house but its just not the same. I was the fool for flying in front of the sun not once but twice.....DUH!!! So kick me!!! LOL! By the way sorry about posting same thing twice.
Hope you get the system resolved. Its been ok but noticed my pictures disappeared?

No worries on the double post, I will edit that out. It happens sometimes. And what pictures are you referring to? I have not removed any pictures in some time nor have I been working on the server.

The article about "the forum may go down" is all I was referring to. nevermind... The last time I was on here I went to download pictures and a window opened of my photos I downloaded previously but today it didn't....maybe its just me? I could spend hours here reading all the articles but sometimes I need to put it down and get some shut eye. errrr! Its so addicting!!!!LOL

I know what you mean. As for where that window is located, I will tell you. If you are posting a new thread, then you can skip this first part. However, if you are just posting a reply, you will need to click on "Go Advanced" just under the reply box. The window that will come up is pretty much the same for a new thread, and now, a reply. In that window, scroll down and click on "Manage attachments". That will bring up a window with all of the pictures you have uploaded. I hope that is what you were referring to. If not, let me know.

As for the forum going down, I don't think it's going to happen this weekend as I'm quite busy with some other things. I may just leave the forum as is until I have a little time to myself where I can dedicate a few days to cleaning this place up.
