cords work on either?

Hey guys if I buy RF can I use the cord that came with my Phoenix4 for my DX8 or do you have to use the specific cord with each game independently? or does it not matter because a spectrum cord also comes with Rf too or is that a separate item? I wondered if they were interchangeable being a usb hookup.

You can not use the Phoenix cord, you MUST have the Interlink controller hooked up for it to work.

With that said, RF6.5 comes with the cable for Spektrum/JR. Have a look at my video below to see how to use your DX8 with the sim.

Thanks Tony, that's enough of a reason not to buy it, the most expensive game won't let you use your Tx without piggybacking it, seems stupid to me. But some say why wearout your main Tx on a sim when its mainly to learn orientation. To them I have said, you say that because you haven't picked up a spectrum I will decide later, no hurry as I need to dump money in both my birds first anyway.

RF is a GREAT flight sim. dont let that make your decision. The realizim is MUCH better than phoenix, but phoenix has a better selection of helicopters. I have both, and find my self flying phoenix more than RF. Mainly because that is what most have on here and we get online and fly.
