How about a camera that has....
Mini DVR fuction, Recording in HD 720P, 1280 x 720 30fps .mov
120° Lens
Micro size
Live video out
Rechargeable LIPO Battery (250mah)
Comes with a Kingston Class 4, 8GB mem card, but supports up to 32GB
All for the price of $52.99
Just think, you can set up a quad or plane and do FPV things that you want do with a GoPro because
it cost to much if you crash.
Also you could make a much lighter and smaller FPV setup.
I was thinking of all the things I could do with a cheap camera, seems like it may be fun.
Here is a video that my friend @ BlueSkyRC did with his Tri copter that has short arms.
Not sure how he had it mounted, even still it did a pretty good job for the money.
