hey,i am new in to rc helicopters.i am thinking to start with simulator and trex 500 or 550.that's why i need charger and power supply for 6s 5000mah batteries.i have uk power socket.maybe i can buy icharger 306b if i will find a cheap(good quality) power supply. your suggestions?

The 306 would be perfect for this project. As for power supplies, check out these articles that gaba and I wrote. This is what I use and it has worked perfectly.

From there, just follow the video that I linked to before and you will be able to charge this pack in no time at all. You can charge this pack with a 50w charger, but it will take about 4 hours or more.

Here you go. If I was looking to charge a battery that size, this is the smallest charger that I would go with. seems to have pretty good reviews. And I can assure you, you will be maxing this charger out on every charge, so make sure it has some good air flow to keep it cool. But for $50, this seems like a killer deal.

If it were me, and I was on a limited budget, that is the charger I would get. The only other one that I would suggest is the B6AC which has half the wattage, and will take twice as long to charge the battery.

If you want to get the 106, it will be a 10 amp charger and yes, it will work. I would still suggest the DPS-600PB power supply though you will only have to install bullet connectors on that one power supply and not two like with teh 306. It's an awesome charger and you will love it. And with a 575 watt power supply, it will work fantastic. At least I'm sure it will.

I hope you realize the b6ac is a much lower wattage charger than the 106b. The b6ac is only 50 watts. But, if that is what you want, here is a link to one on ebay.
