450 Chaos 450 servo help with beast X.

Hey guys need some help, new to this DFC system. And its been awhile since my last build. My question is when Iam setting up my cylics servos should I be in idle up or just normal mode for servo horn arms to set my 90 degres at mid stick? Also should I have the beast x already hooked in to do this. I have a airtronics TX and will need to use it with the beast x also.

You should be in whatever setting you have a linear pitch curve. 0 at low stick, 50 at mid stick, and 100 at high stick.

One other thing Tony, would you recommend mounting the tail servo solid or should I use the brass barrels and rubber grommets? Its a pro style mount

For a 450, I mount them solid. For anything nitro, I use the dampers.

Personally I use the rubber and brass. I am not sure if there is any advantage other than giving the bolt something to tighten on.
