450 ccw spinning

OK. Heli is violently spinning(yawing) left. Servo horn at 90°. No binding
in tail linkage. Blades are on correctly. Belt tight.
Put in rate mode and used sub trim to get it pointed
halfway straight. Shut it down and saw slider was
completely bottomed out, no room left for any
right stick. Obviously this cannot be right. Obviously I
am a newb. I'm trying to figure out what I am doing
wrong. Changed stock gyro did not help. Bypassed
gyro with same results. Makes no sense to me that
full pitch to the right is the only way to keep this bird
straight.

PS. This 450 used to fly good

Thanks for the link and advice. Gyro is functioning
properly though. Even bypassing the gyro doesn't help.
It makes no sense to me. Even with a small amount
of pitch applied, you would think that would be plenty to
compensate for the torque of the main. Like I had
said before I have tail blades with full pitch in proper
direction(leading edge facing left) and it will stay
straight, but that leaves no more movement on slider
left over. Also checked gears and belt. Like I said I
am new to cp. Someone may just need to spell it out
for me lol

I see the issue. The center body of the tail should be flush with the end of the tail shaft. I have had to actually recess the tail shaft within the center section before on the cheaper helicopters. Once you push that out, you will gain a lot of pitch.

Well spotted hawk eyes, lesson learnt for all I think. Your the man T...

Full right pitch, slider all the way to the left and it still spins like crazy. I'm about to trash it and try and save up for a name brand I guess

So full right pitch (trailing edges facing the right) and it's still spinning nose left? When facing the helicopter from the right side, are the tail blades turning CCW? Also, hold the head steady where it won't move, then turn the tail blades. You should hear the belt skip, but yet it should be rather hard to turn to make the belt skip. We just had a guy that had a bad tail shaft and the gear was spinning on the shaft. Something else to look into.

Either slipping gear on the front or rear gear set. or the belt is backwards. Its not moving enough air

And hey dperry

Dont' ever give up. You'll love the high you'll feel once its fixed whether you figure it out on your own or find out from someone else. Now maybe you might want to get a brand name and thats cool if you can afford to but you can't walk away from a heli that isn't crashed just because of a tech issue.

Good luck we will all know soon once you figure it out!

These are the things that it could be.
1) Servo reversed
2) Gyro reversed
3) Tail rotating CW because Tail belt twisted the wrong way

Put up a short video or pictures show your stick movement and the direction of tail blades.
I'm sure with that, we will get it solve in no time.
