Projects bungee launching

Ok, not real sure where to put this question, so here it is.

Does anyone have any experience with bungee launching a glider/sailplane? What was used for the bungee? How long should a bungee be?

Any tips would be appreciated!

It's not RC specific, but for my bosses kid's birthday we did a real life angry birds with surgical tubing. It worked great for launching kids balls at boxes, would probably work good for planes too.

Thanks guys! I just found a launching system online for $60. I will take a harder look at it in the morning when I get home. Maybe I can just make one that will be a bit cheaper.
