450 BEC Extentioin Harness Question

I need to extend the BEC harness that goes to the AR8000 throttle. Can a standard servo harness extension work for this. The BEC has a larger gauge wires compared to the servo extension.

I would stick with the same gauge wire unless you know exactly how many amps your system is going ot pull and that the smaller wire can handle it.

Smaller gauge wire on the BEC will be fine. I have extended them many times with a smaller gauge extension. But if you are worried about it, use a Futaba heavy duty extension lead.
