battey left on all night now what?

i was doing a plane build last night t28 Trojan and it was getting late well got stupid no reason i no any how left my tx on all night got up in the morning and for some reason was looking at the tx and notice the switch was on my life battery is swelled up need to know what to do don't need a fire or explosion is there anway to help the battery/

I'm afraid the battery is probably toast.
They are not suppose to be drain below 3V per cell. I would toss it and get a new one.

Do you have a voltage checker?
Check there is no voltage left.
There are various ways to drop the voltage. Use your charger, a 12V light bulb. I'm not an expert.
Once the voltage is dropped, you can strip the two wires and wind them together and throw it in the trash. Or take it to a recycle centre.
