battery condition

Now for the reason the picture is the way it is.First thing i took the pic with my iphone so sorry for the blur and the out of focus.When you look at the pic you will see two of the leads looks like they are burnt.The reason for this is when i got the new DVM i had the connector in the wrong port and it sparked ,when the lead touched the lead in the picture.It sparked and pulled the lead away that second.the question that i have is do you think it is still safe to put on the charger or not

If it's not safe, the charger won't charge it. Not a good charger anyway. I would hook it up and see what happens, but stay right with it and watch it just incase.
