450 ball link pliers

okay so the ball link pliers i have are not able to remove the dfc links properly. they keep marring my swash plate and the links them self its start to get really annoying and ugly looking. what type/ brand of ball link pliers are you guys using on the dfc. cause im in the market for a new set.

Dats what use... It is a tight fit on a 450 dfc.. I use them to break it loose(but kinda stuck under the ball and the base of the swash), then w my hand drop it low and roll the link off the ball. Kinda trick to keep the swash clean I kno...

I'm with Tony never used them, nowt like the shock on the thumb when it snaps into place, lol

I use mine just to take off the links. I use my fingers to put them on.

I see what you mean. My pliers seem to be cut to deep to pop off the link. I think I may grind down one side so it wont bottom out on the swash. I don't need them to put it back on so it wont matter if one side is shorter.
