FBL Gyro AR7200BX Antenna Exposure

Does anyone have an opinion regarding using a small plastic straw to position the AR7200BX long wire with the thinner/non-insulated portion of the wire exposed.
In other words, will the straw cause radio frequency interference?

No, plastic will not interfere with the signal. Only metallic object will do that.

Carbon Fiber will too, so try to get it out away from any CF frame parts if possible.

It will be fine. I use a bit of antenna sleeve that comes with most heli and plane kits

Here are pics of my 550 (2 pics), 450 PRO (1 pic) and 450 SPORT/DFC (2 pics) Antenna placement. Will I be OK without a satellite RX with the PRO? I welcome all constructive opinions. Thanks.
