Howdy, I'm building an Align 500X and things are going well. I've taken everything apart, oiled, greased threadlocked and re-assembled.
The manual says to use retaining compound on the one-way bearing though and I'm wondering if it"s necessary? I've never done it on my other Heli's, even after replacing worn OWB's (don't remember instructions to do so). I'd hate to disrupt things by having to punch out and possibly damage the OWB + another bearing in there. Everything is so nice, snug and tight in there now, what do you think?
