Spektrum About Satellite on Lemon-rx

Hi Flyers, I am new to Dx9 , i am wondering if someone uses lemon-rx dsmx receiver with satellite?
My question is when do i need a satellite on the dsmx, is it for better diversity or for longer range? and where should i place the satellite? . Thanks for any answer /Jörg

It's better for the diversity, especially on helis over 500 size you defo need two rx's

One receiver and one sat or fbl unit and two sats,

If you are wanting full range, then you will want to run a satellite Rx. But on LOS 250 quads, there is really no need. Planes, depends on how far you are going out. Over 400', yup, I'd run one.
