Servos 8.4V direct to HV servos and Ikon

I want to eliminate the UBEC out of my heli. I do know that you can run a 2S lipo directly to the servos and Ikon. I've read some articles where BEC's have failed with disastrous results.

Does anybody know how to wire this up?

Thanks Paul! I somehow missed that thread.

I want to completely eliminate the BEC and run from the lipo to the Ikon and from the lipo to the servos directly. I'm trying to get my head around the configuration.

My setup currently runs a separate lipo for the electronics. My ESC does not have an inbuilt BEC.

I have a Scorpion Backup Guard as protection against BEC failure. Keeps the weight down.
