Nice, colour coordinated braiding!
On my 700X I just routed the wires internally as per the manual. This works fine though you do need to be careful to tie down the wires to prevent them rubbing the main shaft. Still gets a bit messy when the wires all get to the electronics mounting tray at the front but hard to do much about that:

PS.. check that your aileron and pitch servo arms dont hit the metal frame stiffener at full positive collective + cyclic position. Mine did.
To fix it I trimmed back the thread on the ball slightly so it didn't stick out of the arm plus I added carbon spacers under the servos to push them out and back slightly. It's a common problem on the 700X. Possibly it only happens on the bench because you would rarely have the servos deflected that far in flight but from a good practice point of view the servos shouldn't bind.
