550 Rebuild Pics

It's getting there guys! Only part I am waiting on now are the Align CNC Servo arms that I ordered. I doubt they'll be here until monday but we'll see! Would be nice if they arrived tomorrow! I'd probably be able to maiden the bird if they do!!!











I've installed the Ikon FBL unit, Align 550 DFC Main shaft, Align 600 DFC head, Align Torque Tube, Align 600MX Motor, All four King Max Servos, Dual Spektrum DSMX SAT's, Align 550 Servo to Swash Linkage set, CNC Tail Servo horn, 3D Pro FRP 550mm Main Blades, Stock Tail Blades, All Align TT Gears (Black) and I finally got the correct connectors soldered onto the ESC wires going to motor! I used a torch to solder them! Worked like a charm! 4mm bullets!

Now I just hope the CNC Servo horns arrive tomorrow so I can try to get her ready to fly her maiden flight!

Yeah no doubt Kyle! Everyone has to clown on me about it! I don't mind anymore! LOL! But yeah man it's coming right along! I just went outside without blades installed and setup the ESC for the New radio, set endpoints of the radio and then checked the Ikon's governor, man this thing is dead on accurate!!! I set my governed headspeeds @ 2200, 2300 and 2400. N, ID1 and ID2. I got:

2180-2210 Normal Mode
2290-2320 ID1
2370-2400 ID2

This governor works perfectly! Can't wait to get the servo arms so I can get everything else setup on it and do the maiden flight!
