FBL Gyro 2 potentiometer pots on 3Gx?

Hello again, another couple of questions on the Align 3Gx FBL controller. All the YT videos I find and watch, no one mentions the 2 adjustable potentiometer pots on the 3Gx for aileron and elevator. The two pots have 0 to 40 for aileron and 60 to 100 for elevator.

What do these actually adjust?
Should I leave them at their default position?
When should I adjust them?
Do they correspond to anything in the 3Gx software interface, if so what?

Thanks for your help.

Good day to all,
If you get on the Align website, you can download the manual for your 3gx.
This will explain everything in " Align specific" lexicon.
LOL,LOL
If you read it thru and take into account the translation process, you'll do just fine.
Good luck

You will need to connect the gyro up to the computer in order to adjust those pots. There is a menu in there where you will see the numbers changing. I suggest you set it at 105 to start (in the application on your computer). This is where mine is set and I have not had to move them.

The range marked on both pots is 0-100 (the markings are a bit confusing). They represent cyclic gain and you would normally have them each adjusted to the same value. When i had 3GX gyros I always started off with them in the middle '12 o'clock' position. Adjustment works in much the same way as tail gain but for the cyclic.
