Micro 180cfx Back Servo

Does anybody know what is happening with the back Servo of a stock 180 cfx it just locks up this is the second one I have I inspected the gears seem to be fine none of them are stripped visually but the servo is locked up .

Motor is probably seized/burned out I had a couple of 180 CFX servos do this prior to changing to an Align MG servo on the tail.

When you put the Align Servo on did you cut the wires and solder the smaller end pieces are you some kind of adapter

I cut the wire off the old servo and used it to make an adapter with a F/M JR connector

I'm really liking your idea I have a T-Rex 250 all torn apart and the tail Servo is a DS 425 am digital Servo but I don't think it's going to work because the three cyclic servos are analog?

I think the CFX has digital because of the FBL unit. Most 3 axis gyros do not play well with analog. Even if they are the tail should not matter. I ran a digtal tail with analog on my cyclic when I built my first 450.

The two blade has the 2060 analog servos and the trio 180 has the 2065 digital servos I have both helicopters the one I'm working on is the two blade one with the 2060 analog servos but you're right they both have the same tail servo

The Align DS420MG that used is digital and it works fine.
