Just got a couple of new Zippy Compact 4s 5000 25c lipos.
Charged one up and did a flight this afternoon and with the lipo buzzer set at 3.6v I got 15 minutes in the air without the buzzer going off.
As I came in from the flight, I checked the cell voltage while still hovering in the air and all cells were around 3.65 to 3.7. When I landed they very quickly settled at 3.75 to 3.8.
I will monitor how much mah goes back in when I charge it but at 15 minutes I'm pretty happy.
I may set my timer to 12 to be safe and to treat the batteries a little more kindly.
My quad specs
450 X frame from banggood
Propdrive 1000kv motors
Multistar 30a ESCs SimonK flashed
Cheap 8x4.5 props (well balanced)
KK2 FC
FRsky D8R2+ receiver
4s 5000 25c
All up weight, ready to fly is 1215 grams.
This thing is lots of fun and was cheap to build so I don't get too upset with
unplanned heavy landings.
It cuts grass too, but don't ask me to try it inverted.
EDIT
Wow 3370 mah, I could go longer, but I think at 15 minutes I am happy.
I may fly till the buzzer goes off just once.
