Micro 130x bad tail twitch.

Replaced the tail assembly with metal gears as the stockers failed. It seems like every third flight the bird wants to have a horrible tail twitch. Tried adjusting the tail gain. As I was going through the gain adj procedure. It never seemed to go slower(blinking lights) to indicate a change of value. Please advise

I found on my 130s I have to clean the Tail servo , well all servos on a regular basis. To do this you need to remove the servo and separate the mechanics from the electrics (3 screws) them clean the electrical contact strip with a cotton bud and acetone or similar.
After this the servos operate smoothly again.
