Is it necessary and if so how often should I lube the gears? recently sold my goblin with roughly 60 flights on it. the kts servos I’ve kept for my next Heli but I was wondering if I should replace the grease on the gears before I installed them on the next Heli.

It could actually fit under the canopy I just didn’t want to tape it on top of the lights for the setup when using the omp protocol because I sometimes switch between the omp and dsmx. it’s only about 13x15mm

It fits nicely in the space between the frame supports on the back. I put some Plasti dip around the antenna and lead wires to keep them protected.

I’m in the middle of an xlpower 520 and I bought some x Supra 4mm bullet connectors for the motor to esc. The problem I’m looking at is the wires on the motor already have the insulation stripped way back and after fitting them into the bullet end I have a considerable amount of bare wire left...

I am using an ikon 1 so telemetry isn’t available.

If I’m using the hw internal gov with an ikon do I just leave the rpm signal wire from the esc disconnected.

Thanks D.O.G I just downloaded the google drive app on my iPad it was easy. No I’m not at top of the world but not far from there. I actually belong to the club sky pirates in belleview. We’re a small club of about 25 and I’m the only one flying helis.

Thx smoggie I have read that before somewhere. The upper composite plate has brass inserts in it so that should be ok to loctite. I have used a tiny bit of ca for the servo mounts.
