    Batteries What's a good 3300 mAh 6S 22.2 pack with an XT60 connector?

Ok guys I got lucky with Ebay. I scored two Glacier 3300 mAh 6s 22.2 volt packs on Ebay. I also got some EC5 connectors and a couple of ET60 female / EC5 adapters for the charger's output. Yeah, that'll all go well with my new Align Trex 500XT that's in the mail.. I finally broke down and went...

Ok, up-date time. We had another blackout today. Same exact symptoms. Tom wanted to switch to the other HDMI output and run it there for now to see, bla, bla bla,,, I told him,, let's change the ^$%* cable already. Nope, got to check this first. You mean again? What a burnt bearing................

    Computer Black-outs

Well so far, we have not had any more blackouts. So jiggling all the cables and whatever it was Tom did, seems to have worked. At least for now. Thanks Randy....

    Computer Black-outs

HI Randy, sorry for the delay. Ok, Where do I start. And right when it comes to "it could be several things". Yeah we're going to replace a certain video monitor cable as well do some adjustments in the area you mentioned. Tom also mentioned something about a registry setting or something...

    Computer Black-outs

Hi all, seems my new, (about a year old) computer is suffering blackouts. I've had 3 so far. It's a MinisForum mini desktop. It's been fine but once in awhile the monitor freezes and then goes black. The only way to get it going is to force a shutdown. Oh no, I hope my li'll square thing...

    Servos Can't set servo throw.

Ok, I was modifying my remote receiver igniter box with a new PCB. Next thing I know I have problems with the servo throw. Full throw till it bottoms out and heats up my 6 volt regulator like crazy. I can't program the throw. Even when I change channels, the problem remains. I'm using an old...

    What Did You Do Today???

The weather is fairly calm again today so I couldn't resist flying 4 more packs. I reset my cut-off voltage to 3.6v instead of 3.7v. It added 2 and a half minutes to the flight time. Now I get a cool 6 and a half minutes. Nice! Still drooling over that Align 500 XT.........

    450 ESC Governor Settings..

While we're on the ESC topic, I have another question. I'm drooling over this gem. Align Trex 500XT combo. It comes with this ESC, ( RCE-BL80A Brushless ESC) This ESC can be used with the Align ASBOX multifunction program box. Hey guys, that program box looks exactly like my HobbyWing HW-BO2013...

    450 ESC Governor Settings..

Yup, gotcha for sure. And today the weather was nice again, so I flew 4 more packs. Just practicing hovering and some little sways. Note today, all 4 packs only had a 4 minute flight time. Soft cut off set at 3.7v. Just noting................ Other than that my back is KILLING me again! Oh man...

    450 ESC Governor Settings..

I had a feeling the RPM speed was the output shaft speed. Nice to have confirmation. Today it was calm so I was playing around with the ESC's governer. Yeah I like the Gov/store mode best. So I just reset to Gov/store mode and redo the Gov/store first start procedure as per Geena's advice. Easy...

    450 ESC Governor Settings..

I wasn't sure the attachment would work, but I see it did.. Ok,, yeah I did do the standard set-up as per Ginna and all was/is well. No problem with the governor and all that. I'm with you Randy, what's the difference between the two paragraphs? Pretty much nothing,, that's what I was after...

    450 Scale 500D body

Ok, thanks for the info for sure. You know, I'm think'n, maybe build a 500 scale instead of 450 scale chopper??? Hummmm..... Anyway the new charger is working great. I've been practicing charging and discharging my semi old packs. Maybe I can save the 2200 mAh 3S packs for my 450 Trex.

    450 Scale 500D body

So what's a good way to strengthen the landing gear? I've heard rumors and now you guys say yes, the landing gear needs buffing up. I'm open to all ideas on this one. Oh hey the new charger seems to work nicely but when I opened it up, the screen had no plastic cover and it had smears and...

    450 Scale 500D body

Oh, I keep forgetting to clarify, that the model pictured in the link is a 500D NOT E.. And if you want to split hairs, their full sized cousins are registered as a 369D Not 500D. When I inquired about this years ago to Hughes/MD helicopters , I got the same answer, no one really knows why the...
