Yeah you can't beat the original for sure, the clones can work too, and of course having the latest and greatest for ie: Jeti, wont save anyone from a dumb thumb crash, which happens all the time in this hobby.

Only buy what you need. There's a lot of great tools out there, but if you don't use them, it will be a waste. This hobby can be pricey as it is.

I just finished doing gimbal adjustments on my DX9. I too had a slight tight fitted antenna. I rocked it back and forth, then I pulled. Same as this video. Hope it helps others out there.

I bought a Sandisk 16GB Extreme PRO sdcard, update to the latest firmware on the DX9, all is well. Ordered online a 4000mah lipo for it. Going to start posting some pics of my budget 450 build. I'm a bit rusty and a bit slow and old now days hope I can finish this build some time this year. :D

hmm isn't the volts goes up and capacity remains the same. So there for 2 x 6S lipos in parallel should give you 12S. Not sure if your motor can run 12S. Correct me if I'm wrong???

As I don't have a 700, I'm going to pass now, and hopefully Smoggie, or Tony can be more helpful on your journey

what's the biggest size heli you have ever experience in? 700 is all good, but it might be intimidating for some.

Pulled the trigger on a DX9 just now, so hope to see that soon in the mail. I just need to sort out a few more stuff, and I'll try to start putting some funds away for a D420. If I can get D420 before the end of this year, I'd be happy. :D

As for the Agile, for the price of an EXO 500(kit only), I can get an Agile 7.2(kit only). lol But they are too big for my heli budget. THere's so many nice helis
