    What Did You Do Today???

Not for you. Lots of companies are doing this. Look at Apple and John deere to name a couple. Slightly different but still won't let you have the parts to repair what's yours.

    Removed: Traxxas Tmaxx wheels

Just checking in and realized these were still on here. I moved over a year ago and threw them in the trash. They were probably junk anyway.

    Unbelievable

I'll probably try and get another Icon helmet. I don't know. I do want a modular style. Icon doesn't have a modular but they have one that makes it easy to install my Packtalk Bold comms device. The modular ones make me have to use the boom style mic and it's a pain to install. It's right in...

    Unbelievable

Anyone shipped via ups lately? I shipped a 3.5lb helmet in a 14x14x14 box via ups store. They charged me over $50! If the helmet hadn't cost $300 I would have thrown it in the trash but it's a warranty claim so $50 is cheaper than a new one. I'll be selling the new one they send me. HJC...

    Free stuff

I'm working on and have been doing so for a few months now, setting up and making my shop user friendly. One thing I want in there is a tap/drill reference chart. I was looking on amazon for a good one and came across an out of stock starrett chart. One person posted that you can get them for...

I just got my first 3D printer.

You will love it the more you use it. Here is something I did with mine. I got a blueprint cabinet from work and turned it into a tool cabinet. One drawer was missing the rear rollers so I just made some. They work great!

    Flight Controllers Tyro129 anomaly

So I charged up a few batteries to go out and do some long needed flying. I made sure my iX12 was charged, as it wasn't, and waited till the next day. So one thing that I noticed is when I plugged in the charger for my Tx the battery indicator showed COMPLETELY dead. Hmmm... oh well just get...

    Filament dryer

After using this for a while, I can say it does do its job. I left a roll of PETG on my printer for a while and placed it into the dryer. The filament had built up about 82% humidity. I had to run about 3 drying cycles at max temp to get it down to around 45%. I then placed the roll into a...

    Reminders

I'd forget the last one if it weren't securely fastened behind me.

    TPU Filament

Also to note. My ender cr6 se has a bowden tube system that I changed to capricorn tubing. The TPU filament does well going through it. I always thought you had to have a direct feed extruder to use it.

    TPU Filament

FYI: TPU filament is extremely hygroscopic. I left it on my printer for 3 days and then put it in my dryer, it registered at 65% humidity. I had to dry it 3 times to get it to 38%. I knew something was going on as I tried to print a couple things and it popped and crackled the whole time.

    Filament dryer

I told them to just send a replacement and I'll swap them out. I wonder if the exchange period stops after the first exchange?

    Filament dryer

An update to the dryer: I printed a couple items yesterday and this morning I put my TPU in the dryer to get it ready for vacuum bagging. I turned it on and the fan sounded horrible. It's as if the sleeve bearing had no oil on it. The unit uses a little fan like in a laptop. I let it run for a...

    Time to upgrade

I hear the R6 is a great track bike. Believe it or not, a 400 can outperform a 1000 on the track with a skilled rider.

    Time to upgrade

By the way Tony, what bike did you have before?

    Time to upgrade

I don't understand their naming conventions but they decided to put the 'R' at the end of the model number. They have the GSX-R line up to 1000cc and then there is the Hayabusa which is 1340cc. One thing I immediately noticed is the power...definitely the power. My little ninja stops pulling...
