I dont think there is just 1 set of tools thats the best. I have many tools from MIP speed bits that I use mostly .dynamite hex .some I drilled tips off that I added custom bits .But I can silver solder or braze almost any metal to metal.Ignition pliers are a must ..

its really never safe to leave a lipo in a car.I do have a coolier that runs of of 12v and I set it for 68 degrees F .thats only used for my road trip to play paintball.no lipos where hurt during this event.. I try to use A123 LiFe batteries ..

alot of the older lipo chargers dont like charging a new full battery.. I like my X charger but i know after a few time the cells need to be under 4.00 volts ..a little later on this might might help other in time

Ive had and used Orx products .. all but 1 was ok.. 1 failed .I have had Spektrum products .sorry just junk failure after failure.to many.. I also have had schultz great no fails.I use Radiopost now for rx..Good luck but we all roll the dice with any electronics

there is a vast number pf ways to get the 5.5 to 6 v dc. id just use a standard 9v battery with a bec on it to power rx and servo the eight will be much less than 4 aa. or even a small lipo pack. you can buy from amazon for cheap. 9v almost any store

I dont think this is a hobby grade rc. I think its a toy grade as in all in 1 esc board and servo control..

how old is this charger I wanted 1 way back .like 7 year s ago. got 1 then tested it . tossed it.. many many new better chargers out not with more than 4 amps charge rate.

a led would be fine to test a esc voltage.. as long as its 12v there are many or just use a 1157 brake light use bulb socket many chap voltage meters. if you have the space id just use a traxxas xl5 i do think theres xl 2.5 for 1/18 scale and small rc

get a ubec or bec leave the red wire off thats you problem..ive been in this hobby ive been in this hobby 20+ years I have always run becs .not bec off any esc
