    The New Corsair

Nice! I think you will enjoy the Corsair. Just keep the speed up and you'll be fine. These warbirds like the speed!

I have one and never fly without it! If your flying style changes from flight to fight, sometimes you can't rely on your timer. But with one of these, you will get a loud beeping alarm when any cell in your battery reaches the threshold that you set, allowing you to land without the chance of...

    E-flite 1.2m Clipped Wing Cub

What! Not a Pink Floyd fan? Yeah, "Learning to Fly" wasn't my favorite Floyd track, but the length and the theme of the song fit the video. I'm not a fan of hearing the wind and motor noise on videos, so I always put some music in the background. At least with the Runcam, you have the option...

    The New Corsair

The design of the model has the too far back. It is directly on the CG. In the stock configuration it would not taxi on the grass. By adding a 1/4 in wedge under the gear it moved it just forward enough to be under the leading edge of the wing. All fine now on grass or pavement.

I love flying it! I did need to angle the gear forward from where it was at. Tends to nose over if you come it hot.

    Spektrum Dx9 Charging Issue

That is the issue. I took the battery apart and found one of the cells dead and it had a discharge at the positive post. Time for a new one.

    Spektrum Dx9 Charging Issue

I am having an issue with my DX9. I have found it unresponsive too weekends in a row. The first time I thought I may have bumped the power switch and inadvertently drained the battery. I put it on charge and checked it the next day and it displayed 7.4 volts. That was last Sunday. Today...

OK Extreme Edge 540T II Maiden

I love this plane! Nice video. I put mine in a tree a few weeks ago. It was overcast and I lost orientation and caught a tree. Ripped the gear out and damaged one wing and the elevator. May rebuild if I find some free time. Heres a video from mine I did earlier last year: Bud

    Motors Electric Motor x-Mounts

Thanks. I had searched their page the other day but could find it. So I called but they didn't have the one I need. No one lists them by size....that makes them hard to find. I may need to make one out of aluminum. I'm looking to mount an E-Flite motor onto a GP ARF.

    Motors Electric Motor x-Mounts

I'm looking for a X-mount for a project. I need the ID screw spacing to be on 25mm centers and the firewall screw spacing to be on 45mm centers. Does anyone know the best source for these?

Welcome to the group! I've got a 350qx2 and an Inductrix for buzzing around the house. Don't fly them nearly as much as I fly the planes. And yes, we do like pictures, videos, etc. Bud

Kits Airplane Crash and Repair Example

Great piece! I really enjoyed all of the detailed pics. I'm in the process of rebuilding one right now. I hope to find time to work on it this weekend some. I'm going to cheat a little. I will order a new motor box kit from the manufacturer. Mine is like a pile of toothpicks!

    Flying today.

I always land coming towards myself. I've overcame the tendency to turn the wrong way a long time ago. I was taking advantage of the high winds and practicing touch-and-go's. The wind was running solid 15-18mph and right as I was dropping in a strong crosswind gust got me before I could...

General I have a ? For anybody that can help

I use Office Depot Size 64 rubber bands. they are 3 1/2 x 1/4". They work perfect for the Apprentice. Always use fresh rubber bands. They will dry out just sitting around. I learned this from a jumpmaster in OK back when I was stupid enough to jump out of perfectly good airplanes. We used...
