    Servos Trash or what?

They are cheap plastic gears servos, I wouldn't use them in any 450 size heli even if they were brand new.

    450 Flybarless conversion

Yours is the 450 3D (no X).. The 450X was flybarless. Like LoveRC said, it's easier, cheaper and better just to look for a used 450X or similar FBL heli. Buying all the parts separately to do the conversion would end up costing more than the value of the heli.

    General Throttle and Elevator linked

I think Tony was talking about helicopters not airplanes (planes don't have swash plates!)? Check the monitor screen of your transmitter, see if the elevator channel is moving when you move the throttle. If in the monitor screen you don't see any movement of the elevator channel than it must be...

General I wonder if this would work in a small heli

That receiver wouldn't work on the M2. The M2 needs a satellite type receiver. It wont work with a standard receiver such as this that has servo type PWM outputs. Note that these receivers are pirate copies, not genuine Spektrum AR6100E (Spektrum discontinued the AR6100E years ago). They...

500 Suitable RX with MB Plus

The 4651t should be enough on it's own, it's a full dual diversity receiver, not like the old generation Spektrum satellites. As Fran says, you will either need to make up a cable or buy the SRXL2 adapter.

Spektrum How to bind a 9XR Pro to a Spectrum Receiver

No you cant bind a 9XR pro to a Spektrum receiver without using an external DSM2/DSMX module. The 9XR Pro internal RF module uses FlySky AFHDS 2A Protocol which is not compatible with Spektrum DSM2/X In layman's terms the 9XR speaks a language that the Spektrum receiver doesn't understand, so...

600 trex esp 600 flybar to fly barless

Yes, the 610 servos are the same as was used on the early FBL version of the 600, so will be fine.

600 trex esp 600 flybar to fly barless

Flybarless puts a lot more load on your servos. You seem to have the servos covered but you also need a good strong electrical supply to them, a good battery or a reliable switching mode BEC.

    600 receiver help needed

All fail safe does it return servos to a pre-set condition upon signal loss. This wont prevent a crash. Not at all similar to a stabilisation or 'rescue' feature. The Brain2 / ikon2 or Spirit are options that have stabilisation and 'rescue' functionality included in the price. The AR7200...

Other Transmitter, receiver and servi selection..

That a VERY ambitious project. I've seen other beginners attempt something similar but it never worked out. Usually those attempting to build an RC heli from scratch would be experts on RC helis and very familiar with the electronics needed. If you don't have that level of knowledge then your...

    ESC Kosmik question

Have you checked that you are getting a closed throttle signal from the receiver? If you are getting a throttle signal it should just be a matter of doing a 'Mode 1' to calibrate the ESC then a 'Mode 4' to put the ESC into heli governor mode.

    FBL Gyro Spektrum FC6250Hx FBL

That confirms what i thought. The servo sub-trim is done in the FBL unit not in the Tx. It's actually really important not to use trim or sub trim in the Tx I can understand where the confusion comes from because in this case the adjustment of the FBL is done from the Tx, but you have to bear...

    450 From Flybar to Flybarless

Sounds like you are petty much set for the conversion. Sometimes servos and the BEC in the ESC need to be upgraded for flybarless because the demands of a FBL system on the servos is a lot greater than FB. But in this case i suspect you will be ok as long as the servos are decent quality. If...

    Projects Servo help

PS.. for servos I recommend the KST DS215MG. They can be used on cyclic and on the tail.

    Projects Servo help

There actually is an aftermarket upgrade option that speeds the tail up, it works great. i had one of the early versions of this upgrade fitted to my own 470L, highly recommended: https://kc3dprint.com/products/t-rex-470l-tail-ratio-upgrade-kit

    Spektrum DX8V2 Help

Jeff, are you still struggling with this? I don't have a Spektrum Tx to hand, but could the problem with AUX2 be because you already have AUX2 assigned to a different port?

    FBL Gyro Spektrum FC6250Hx FBL

I've not used the 6259HX. Usually (in every FBL I've ever used) levelling servo arms would be done using sub trim in the FBL, not Tx subtrim. Anyway, if the 6259 is different to all others and you do in fact use Tx sub-trim, then this is specific to each model in the Tx memory. When you create...

    250 binding issues

Are you sure the bind plug is in the correct port, and the bind plug is in good condition? As you said, the problem sounds like the receiver isn't going into bind mode. The LED should flash.

    700 Kraken 700s motor / esc combo

4530 500kV is good, you could also go with a 4525 and save a few grams with still ample power. There are some motor recommendations in the manual that give you a good idea what sizes and Kv ranges work. One of the good things about the SAB transmission is it will take a wide range of motor kV...
