Failed to mentioned on the "Diagnose" tab you should see the Aileron and Elevator bars change to whatever level you have set on the radio. If you have 60% then the graph will only go to that level. Juan

I did a quick search on CC web site and I don't think the Edge 120 is Opto isolated but I am running a CC edge 160 HV with a separate Rx battery with no issues in my 700L

If you think the blades are immense wait until you hear them spool, they are intimidating. I guarantee you will be backing up as they spool, at least I did going from a 450L to my 700L.
