    What Did You Do Today???

Yeah, we were sitting at -26 this morning here in Montreal, so that's about -7 or so for you guys, we're a little more accustomed to the colder temps and the normal at this time is -13 /14 but this is still brutal then add the wind and ..."no nice" (like my grandma would say) ..."no nice at...

Ok, in essence , same place as mine but higher up on the frame. Agreed it works well. Limited real-estate elsewhere for them.

The fit on the back where I put it really isn't bad. Doesn't interfere at all with the canopy and cg looks ok as well. Where did you install yours? Post a pic. Found it on hobby king, might give it shot but would like to see where you were able to mount it.

Smoogie, You're the man!!! Torx #3 ground down slightly has her done. I can at least now remove the screw if needed. Still think an outright change of that screw is in order...or a proper well fitted tool thats added as an available spare is a necessity. Beyond that, doesn't change my...

    Micro OMP M1

Thanks that helps some. I was told by the US distributor (I was ordering some spares/crash kit from) they were to be receiving a supply of the drivers this week. They will add one to my pending order. I'm not sure if its going to be an amended size or the original driver. I think the best...

    What Did You Do Today???

Hola folks, been a while. Think we'll get to see a few fun flies this year people? I'm going friggin stir crazy here in Montreal. Things are a little tighter with imposed curfews and all kinds of stuff going on, but another lost summer of fun flies will be tough pill to swallow.:moody:

    Micro OMP M1

Ok guys, so in short I'm very impressed with this little machine. Extremely locked in, and tons of power. This is a direct drive heli, so no gear train, pinion etc.. making this very quiet in comparison to other models of this size. ESC/Flybar unit is in the front and if your running...

    Days I Can't Fly :(.

Ive tried the Xbox thing and cant do it DOG. Although i can see how this would help on the FPV stuff just from a visual perspective as the view is similar. Ive tried the FPV stuff but find it very , hard to find the right word... not bothersome but more visually "uncomfortable". It almost...

    What Did You Do Today???

Nice little sideline for the flying dog..sounds like fun too boot. I'm going to have to look at some kind of simple set up to record some of my flights . But it has to be simple , I hate playing with all the downloading and editing blah blah. Lol

    What Did You Do Today???

Going to try and get out this morning and put in a flight on the 570 if i can...I made some changes to ESC setting and want to see how she reacts. I actually have a fun fly next week that I am super stoked about. It usually holds 150+ pilots but due to circumstances reduced to 50 max this...

    What Did You Do Today???

Not there my man, and I won't pretend to know what you're going through. Had some challenges myself this year . I can say that this place and the hobby have helped cure alot. The change in focus and mental break from everything has always paid dividends. So do what needs doin and post up...

    Goblin 570 First Build

Hey guys, just for reference. It turned out that I was strapping down my battery onto the tray too tightly and that was causing the tray itself to bow. That bowing was causing the additional friction and difficulty in getting the tray slid in all the way. Slacking those straps a tad enabled...

Snap up what ever you can, it wont go to waste and the small $ hit now will keep you in the air when you may have been grounded.
