    Chargers New Parallel Charging System

WOW! how do you damage a Deans connector? That would have taken some effort, who ever it was. Those Supra X connectors are impressive, I particularly like the way the cover screws together. I've saved a page of images in my bookmark of RC parts. I bought one of these to help with soldering...

    Chargers New Parallel Charging System

Hello Helliman, just some ideas, have you considered the Revolectrix PL8 charger: Revolectrix They can be physically and electrically coupled together to configure as many individual channels as required. In the past 2 years, Revo has come up with the Bump Controller: Revolectrix This...

The Chinese, Helping Or Hurting The Hobby???

Hello Tony, yes, it is a case of What Isn't Made In China. With that in mind a buyer has to carefully pick their way around what is on offer. There is a huge variation in quality.

    Chargers Last major project

LOL, that's coz you'll rip a hole in the fuselage getting the hook and loop tape apart. The best stuff is the 3M hook and loop tape. Much better than Velcro.

The Chinese, Helping Or Hurting The Hobby???

A little off topic but anyway..... I have a Luxo magnifier lamp purchased from Mouser Electronics. It is one of these: http://www.luxo-lighting.com/SPD/luxo-17115--5-diopter--luxo-kfm-1-a-magnifying-lamp--45---22w--clamp-on--800019D0-1285015740.jsp I wanted this one because it is an...

    Cases My Custom Made Charger

Hello Nade, thanks for replying. I have looked at the Nanuk cases and the quality of them is impressive. Unfortunately, like everything that comes from the US postage is horrendously expensive and really loads the price up. I ended up buying a couple of used Pelikan cases as they are a lot...

    Cases My Custom Made Charger

That's an excellent setup, Nade and so beautifully built. Does the deck weigh very much on it's own without anything mounted? The PVC is so thick it looks like you can build a bridge with it. The deck looks real good though, it allows a lot of scope to mount anything you like or cut a...

    Changed The Forum Structure

Tony, sorry, I was not having a go at you. You're not copying anyone, the new format is excellent in it's own right, though I do see what you meant about trying to keep it as compact as possible with the other design. Both are easy to navigate. Apologies again Tony for attributing the start...

    Changed The Forum Structure

Hello Tony, I like the new format. Dare I say, it has an air of familiarity, like ummmm, other RC forums. No offence intended. Without sounding picky.... OK, it is.... Can you please move the TRANSMITTERS, RECEIVERS AND CHARGERS section either directly above or below the ELECTRONICS section...

The upside of this is it's probably an update over the one you had. Next time..... When you sell a model.... Don't forget to take the Quark out :P

    not fully back yet

Hello Matt, nice to see things picking up for you. As I said before, you are allowed to enjoy yourself. You could always try "Job 2", if it causes you stress in anyway then leave for something else. Best of luck, what ever you decide to do.

    Uuuuugggghhh! BMW's!

It was 22 years ago and I still had a (very) little interest in cars back then. For some reason I had a morbid fascination with Land Rovers and bought an Series 3 ex military one. It was probably this vehicle more than anything else that killed what little interest I had in fixing cars. The 6...

    Uuuuugggghhh! BMW's!

I don't know why it is, that Japanese cars last so long, despite Japan's desire for updating every 3 years. It's good though, I have a 27 yo Ford Laser, at 180000 km on the clock. It still works like a charm. It will probably be replaced with a Mazda or a Toyota eventually. I like the New...

Did you leave it on by mistake? Here is one site that has them... http://www.singahobby.com/?q=node/25506 or here: http://www.nemhobby.com/spartan-quark-mems-avcs-gyro-v2-02-w-black-case-p32585.html The last one seems to be a lot cheaper than the Singapore price.

    Uuuuugggghhh! BMW's!

Rodney, get a really boring, reliable car like a Toyota. It may not be as prestigious as a BMW, but personally, I'll take boring and reliable over prestige any day. There is more to life that being stuck under the damn bonnet of a car, fixing something that just doesn't want to be fixed...

    Who's Into Saltwater?

Hi Tony, Matt I can watch fish activity for hours, particularly tropical marine species. Much better than television and has a calming, trippy effect, unlike television.
