Yes you could. The good thing about wood is the anti vibration properties and its very light.

Hmmmmm. Alloy square tubes. Diamond plated frame and yam assembly. Don't tempt me lee! ;)

What the heck! I can't edit! I wanted to say YAW assembly, but it came out as yam assembly. I must be getting hungry. . .

Guess I need to post some more. :(

I'd love to see some flight test footage, Lee! If you've got anything upload away!

Just curious, how does she handle compared to a regular Tri? I know the flightest guys talked about how a Tri flies very differently than a quad and that the footage shows this phenomenon.

Flite Test - Tricopter vs Quadcopter - Viewer Response - YouTube

I was curious if when you made the arms straight, you lost this feeling. I thought about it, and I reasoned that the reason the footage looked so different is that the camera is closer to the center of the three props, rather than being between the front two. I am still considering making one of these, but I don't want to make one if I lose that unique "swooping footage" that you get from a Tricopter.

I'd love to hear your opinion on this.

Sorry for the late reply. missed this one.
Here is the only video i made with it. Remember this was before Flight control boards. I used helicopter tail gyros to make this work, and all done line of sight, no FPV. So its not that stable.
