What Did You Do Today???

I singed up! WJ.

Finally got together with the family to celebrate 1 anniversary, 2 birthday's and Father's Day ... We're grouping visits together to help limit contact etc .. Had steak, baked potatoes, green beans, macaroni salad and some bread... But the best part, something I haven't had in ages... Root beer floats... Now that's the way to start off a summer ( despite this dang covid-19 stuff )...

Here we go again, I lost count already...
Another cute li'll kitty with a big time attitude problem.. How's
the claws... This feral is not spay so someday more cute li'll kitties.. Unless its caught again by one of those fanatics that are feeding them, she will just pump out more kitties. These people are a problem in the hood. They come from outside and leave piles of dry cat food at several places up and down the street. As a matter of fact, this is done where I left the cat today. A mile from here. I've seen the cats waiting for the boars to finish up and hopefully there's some left for them.. We had another boar on top the hill in the back again yesterday.

The lake was good to us yesterday. My daughter got her own dinner and saved me a few dollars finally. She ended the day with 2 smallies. Both of which broke the surface of the water. She managed to do everything right to land a n awesome catch.

Nice fishee!... Looks like a nice large mouth bass... I love fresh water fishing..

Me?,, I'm almost done with my li'll telescope's update. Saturn's rings are looking nice..
After I did the optical upgrade, I figured what's the use if it's dewy most of the time. Here in Hawaii, the clearer it is,, the dewier it is. So I added a dual channel anti-dew system.

It's a Pegasus Astro dew controller with two heater straps. One for the eye piece, and one for the objective lens. Pegasus Astro DewZap Dual Channel Dew Heater Controller - PEG-DEWZAP

Note: the unit shown is the old one. The newer unit has two LEDs, one for each channel and nicer control knobs..

Ok, here comes a question: If it's known of course,,, Why does the controller use Pulse Width Modulation on the output to control the heater straps??

I thought it would be a simple heater wire with a thermostat to control the heater straps. Wrong again! Ha!!
So what's the scoops on this?... Anybody?

Oh, being as though I'm kinda a clutsso as I get older, I added a nice LED marker light system to the tripod's feet too... Don't worry, I already tripped over the damn thing this evening before I powered up the lights here in the living room. See!!!!!!! LOL!! And that was before,, HA!>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Well folks this guy will be owning a 1600 sq foot hobby room on tuesday. Final walk through on monday, sign the loan and get keys on Tuesday.

Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July. Had a bunch of family over and blew up a LOT of fireworks. There is a MASSIVE mess in my front yard now lol.

Lots of paper I'm guessing.

Blew the grill up with some ribs. 2 full racks of st Louis pork ribs. Smoked one rack wet and one rack dry. Finger licking.

Here in Hawaii the 4th is usually fairly quiet. As a matter of fact, fireworks aren't even sold on the 4th in this commie state. However this year, for some reason, there was a lot of action.. It was nice to see some patriotism in this dummy dem state.

Got all done. The house is officially mine and the banks. Lol

Tomorrow evening I will have the keys in my sisters hands. I will be playing in the woods with army for the 5 days starting tomorrow. I am going to have my very own office, wow. so surreal for me right now.

That was a light 3 pound small mouth. we caught 3 all about the same size and weight.

Yes finally got confirmation. The papers have been delivered to court for filing. I now have possession of the keys . Move in next week. Yes to go Batchelor style for a little bit.
