500 Gt5.1 Gyro User Manual ????

Hi there, This is a long shot....i am new to this site and need the pdf user manual for the GT5.1 Gyro that i have in my Thunder Tiger Raptor 550E ... the GT5.2 had a pdf available online...i have emailed Thunder Tiger and Ace RC...neither has returned my email as i am sure they dont want to be bothered with ancient technology . So if anyone out there on this site can help me i would be much obliged as dealing with a very small amount of tail wag that wont totally go away and is driving me sorta mad. If you do not know where i can find a manual and you have a manual in your head from experience would like to hear from you .

Welcome to the site Mark Can you use the GT5.2 manual ? Hobbico web site had this gyro/manual but not no more. They might be able to point you in the right direction. Thanks much D.O.G. , i appreciate your help..the manual for the GT5.2 and its ICONS are very different so this info does me little good as have tried for hours to see if i could match up the different icons...a puzzle too tres difficile for me to apprehend. I cannot believe there is absolutely NOTHING online on this gyro. I will keep experimenting with small changes to see what each icon does but it always can lead to catastrophic failure as i have already crashed into a blackberry patch while in stunt mode...the only damage was i needed to adjust the pitch curve...miracle crash...I had to change clothes and get leather gloves however to retrieve it...made a nice circular hole into the briar patch.

Yeah can't find anything either. If it's a tail wag, try turning down the tail gyro til the wag is gone.

Right on.. but part of the problem with out the manual i am not sure what value my gyro on my DX6i should have to work in concert with the gyro. I have it at 64 and have tried moving it up and down but do not seem to see much of a difference...only when i work on the tail rotor feature in the gyro do i see any appreciable change. I love the double tap finger feature to scroll and change values as it is quite unique.

Well i resolved the tail issue today and it was mechanical...but i STILL would love the manual or someone with a handle on the GT5.1 Gyro system...

Thunder tiger dropped the heli stuff years ago. So getting tech support on heli stuff may not happen. As for hobbico, I don't know whatbtheir deal is. They should still be a active in the rc world.

Hobbico went bankrupt chapter 7 in 2018. Horizon Hobbies bought out section of the hobbico family like great planes. So getting help from them is near impossible.
