General Photographs Of Parameters For Goblin 580 Build

Am i allowed to post pictures and how

I am not sure if I am allowed so I thought I best seek advice. While I am currently waiting for my Goblin 580 Kraken to arrive, I upgraded my old Dx9 to the Vtouch and the neo as I had no faith in the spektrum IX range.
In the mean time while still adapting to the Vtouch radio. I contacted S.A.B for their recommendation on build and Vtouch programing after a long conversation they sent me 18 pictures of settings, I thought these might be of use to others on V radios

Firstly the VTouch does not program anything like a specktrum. secondly you will need to activate the radio and fbl through Vstabi software and site..

The first thing that needs to be done is ESC setup. That should be a menu item under set up. you will need to choose which governor you're going to use. Personally I use the NEO gov. You will need pro features to really tune the gov. next the model setup is linear for the most part. The wizard on the radio will walk you through the entire thing. Just make sure you have a way to achieve a level rotor head.

One thing you will need to play arpund with is going to be style and agility. If i remember correctly agility is simular to expo. Style is something specific to vbar.

On most forums, you need to have a certain number of posts before you can post pics etc... ( you've reached that here long ago it appears ).

How you post a pic depends on information you didn't provide... what OS you are using and what browser you are using... On a Windows computer using IE ( I hope you aren't still using that but still ), Chrome or FF.... you can drag and drop the pic you want to post. The pic must not be too large but I don't recall the size ( kb not the dimensions ) ... although I do try to keep mine around the 1024x768 dimensions give or take a bit and that usually keeps the size small enough also.

For OS or browsers that do not support drag and drop... click on the picture icon and then just locate the pic you want to share where ever it is on your computer...

There is like maybe 3 of us on here with vcontrols. And yes it would be interesting to see what the VTouch looks like.

The pictures supplied are in a folder on my windows 10 pro pc , so do I drag and drop, is everyone else still on spektrum radios these days then, I changed over to Vbar because of its reliability

I tried to up load the pictures even individually, but I have an error message file to big for server, shame these are the recommended vbar touch inputs for the new kraken 580 anyone interested I will gladly wattsapp or email them, they was supplied by one of the sab team

Another way is using the PhotoScape app. That's what I use and it works wonderful :).

I totally agree I have used Spektrum radios and receivers for over 20 years up to Dx18, I still use my Dx9 and would never get rid of it, I had a go with a Vbar touch coupled with the Neo just a total different feel and connection.
Love Spektrum radios I just prefer the vbar android system. A bit like cars one mans dreams another mans nightmare.

I went with VControl to simplify my field setup. While I still have a bunch of crap to tote out; I at least don't a have a laptop to bring. For some its not a big deal once stuff is set.

I was on Spektrum DX models for 20 years, tested ix20 had some issues with flaws on the android system, spektrum still working on them last time I spoke to them, I loved the performance of the Dx range I would never knock spektrum, I know a lot of people use them on here, I do too the dx range so im not going to get in a debate with the tests we ran on them. I am still learning the vbar touch that's why I contacted sab for set up. they emailed me 18 photos for everything. pitch xpo. really good info if your on a goblin 580. I am waiting for the new urukay to be released to that will probably be my final build

After you have installed whatever picture program you are going to use... you need to resize the pic down ( not the dimensions, but the physical size )... then save them back to your computer as a new filename ( so you still have the original )... and drag and drop or use the icon as I mentioned before.

Programs that have a share button will only work with a limited number of websites ( such as Facebook, Twitter etc )... but not other websites or forums.

Do you prefer the Spektrum over the Vbar touch ??????????????

I will have a go so in resizing the pictures, do you use a VBAR Radio

I have seen some really nice planes, I like the war planes like the mustang always flown helis, in at the deep end, I wouldn't know where to start with a plane, gliders seem big in the UK at pressent

Yes he is from the mid west of the states. At one time plankers were heavy on Futaba. Not sure if that's still the case.

One of the best original radios from back in the 1940's We don't see to many back in the UK Mainly Spektrum or Frsky. Vbar most resent to hit the Island. Wish we had the space you have for Hobbies.
Love touring Florida and California, When I retire in a few years hoping to do some touring in a RV
