I too went indoors.. It's been so cold and windy lately and it's been raining just about every day that I decided to get a micro to fly indoors.. it's got a little bit of a drift problem, but if I level the swash, again, that should be fixed.. also I had to trim out the tail quite a bit (I think I'm 46 to the left).. anyway, enjoy!

Hey there Matt. That's one way to stay warm and get rid of your itch for flying. A little fine tune adjusting and that micro will be just fine. Thanks for sharing :).

Actually I’m surprised by how well this thing fly’s. I had to go to Spektrum’s website and get a file for the setup but this thing is wicked cool.. Also when I was on the Spektrum website I updated the firmware on my DX8Gen2

This thing is super cool.. one of the quirks about it though is that it needs to be completely still to initialize.. if I hold this on my lap or have the radio making vibrations in my car, this thing won’t initialize..

Hi Matt - when you downloaded the setup from Spektrum which switch was assigned the flight mode. I have Dx6e and downloaded the set up from Horizon and only have 2 flight modes. The S2 manual says there should be 3. Any thoughts? I’m new at this and would appreciate any help. Thanks

The dx6e may only have a 2 way switch vs the dx6 which has a 3 way switch. If the dx6e has a 3 way and you want to have 3 flight modes just program the third mode. Use the values from flight mide 2 to setup the new mode. Then make adjustments as you see fit for that new mode.

All the files that you get from spectrum for these radios are nothing more than starting points. It also saves you time during set up. Personally I would start from scratch. That way I know what going on.

Hey there John and welcome! :). I thought letter "G" was a 3 flight mode switch. My bad :(.
