Either there is a grub screw way up inside the motor which you access though one of the vent holes or it is a complete press fit which would require pressing it apart. My money is on a hidden grub screw though, I have never seen a motor without a way to take it apart.

That motor was not designed to disassemble there are no spare parts listed for it whereas the larger versions the 600L motor list replacement shaft & bearings.
There are videos showing how to get the 600L motor apart and a similar approach may get your motor apart but you run the risk of damaging the motor.
It appears that the top of the motor screws off the barrel CCW, to do that you would need to secure the shaft and insert a hex driver or similar through the vent hole at the top and turn CCW.

I have a motor here but am not prepared to try it, but in your case you may fix it or the alternative is throw it in the bin.

I think I would spend a bit more time trying to fish the washer out with a piece of wire before I contemplated pulling it apart.

Before tossing it in the bin, I would like to get my hands on it to take a look at it. I have not heard of a motor that you can't take apart, and having one in my hands would be yet another learning experience. Just like this thread has been. Thanks Keith for the info.

Couldn't find the 600L video again but the 599L is about the same.
PS. I see I am too late you got it, well done.
