Question: How in the hell can it be above 90 outside and the grass is still wet?

Anwer: A high dewpoint in the morning in relation to the temp and relative humidity....

Speaking of which... looks like it's starting much the same for today... I may be facing the same issue later...

Outside temp - 72° ... dewpoint - 72° ... humidity - 98% ... wind 6 mph

Yeah, yeah, what rdsok said.. The air is saturated so evaporation is poor.

Anyway a bit off topic. Tony, I saw an episode of How It's Made and they did a segment about grade A chicken eggs. They said that the color of the egg was because of the breed. Is that true?

I can't believe what a grade A egg goes through before I simply go to the store and buy them. WOW!! Hail the farmer!!

Yes, it only has to do with the breed of the chicken. We have no chickens that provide white eggs. But we do have 3 different brown eggs though. Some light, some dark and some with dark speckles. They all make a bitchin' omelet :D

You are right, color makes absolutely no difference in taste. It's what they eat and how stressed they are that determines the taste of the egg.

And it's going okay, still need to kill 4+ roosters. I say four PLUS because we have chicks (9 of them) and I'm sure some of those are roosters. If they are, then we will cage them, feed them, then freeze them for the smoker.

Oh yea, the wife said she left probably about 3 dozen eggs in the boxes to see if the hens will hatch them. Hoping they do because if that works, and they survive the roo's, it will help out a lot from buying a dozen or so a year.

Oh, and the moisture comment was more redundant than anything. Figured I needed to reply to that.

I thought I'd add a picture of a Red Vented Bulbul..
This bird is a full on stunt mammal aircraft! Awesome flight characteristics! Their dog fighting capability is so fast I can't believe it...

Sometimes they hit our windows. Some die and some are just stunned.
Just recently brother Tom was sitting here when one hit our front window. He goes out there and the thing is head first in the Mondo Grass. He take it and realized it was only stunned so he just held it for about 10 minutes and kept it warm. Then as the bird was coming out of it, he just set it out in the grass, in the sun, and 5 minutes later it flew away.

I need to get a good picture of Laddy.. That is to say; chatty Laddy... He's a super cool Shama Thrush. I can call him and he shows up seemingly out of no where. He often will sing all kinds of deferent songs to me. I try to mimic but sometimes I just tell him; I can't do that one man, OK, LOL! He to likes a little bread... At first I didn't think those birds eat bread. Only bugs and fruit.... He'll come within 12 inches of me and sing! Good ole chatty Laddy...……

Hey if the military had planes that perform like this bird, we'd be one step closer to UFO technology, LOL!

Mowed the yard today. Well, most of it. It's horrible outside. And my grass was so tall that my tractor was having a little bit of a hard time dealing with that much grass. Once I was done with most of the mowing, I went ahead and took the mower off and grabbed the tiller and did some cultivating in the garden. Need to draw up a couple new rows since they didn't take and I tilled them under to keep from weeding them.

Added our Twitch Channel to the sidebar of the main forum page. Thinking about trying something a little different.

Hey Tony,

I'm concerned with all the wires and getting things done in the final set up in my 700.
Gonna post up... should I start a new post in 700 section or put it fbl gyro subsection.

Eg concerns are using 12s to set up esc and fbl..bec ...running out of slots in the fbl, should I use y connector etc etc. Don't want to fry anything ...

Thanks my man. I saw the twitch stuff I'll hook up later on that.

I hope that everyone had a safe and wonderful 4TH of July. I'm sad to say that my wife and I just put one of ours pet into a safe resting home for the last time this morning. 9:45 pm our blue cheek conure past away from some injuries last night. Since we don't have kids, our pets is our kids and this wasn't one of the 4th of July we enjoy. He will be missed and loved forever. :love_heart:

Dog...heart goes out to you my man.. been there done that too many times already, my cat just 2 weeks ago due to illness as well.
The attachment we have for our animals is real and makes these moments tough for sure.
Give it a month or so and get a pup. Best medicine.

Thanks gentlemen for the kind words. We had a funny feeling that the bird wasn't going to make it but like everything else, you hope and pray it turns out in your favor. That's why we try to enjoy what we have and who you have in our life. You'll never know, in a blink of an eye, it can all be taken away from you. Thanks again :).

Cleaned up the storage shed today, and made some trim cuts to the fence gate so aesthetically its a little more appealing. I didn't get all the heli stuff done , but some.
The wife's happy, so that means at least I m allowed to touch my helis, lol. That is a good thing I guess.
I'm slowly moving forward with the 700 , I'm feeling I'll get it airborne before the end of the month, honestly im super excited to get it there.
Its friggin perfect outside today which makes Monday at the office suck more . Lol.:damnit:
