Like URI said, this is an off topic thread. If you read though it, there are many pages where comments have nothing to do with the previous comment lol. But, I'm thinking of firing up a live stream on Twitch here soon. Still trying to get everything set back up.

Here is the real results. So I empty 2 15 round mags, 3 at a time into each of the targets. I was my typical low left. I guess you can say warming up. Then I emptied 1 15 round into the left blue target and the a second 15 round mag into the middle blue. All if this was at 7 yards.

Where I really sucked was at the battle ship target that i had to shoot at 10 yards to level the playing field with the wife. I won't be showing that train wreck here. Just now that after 50 or so rounds I still had not sunk a ship. So we quit and left. Her had was hurting from the recoil. So I ordered a Hogue rubber hand grip sleeve for the Shield. We shall see if this helps cushion the recoil for her.

Made it the Doc this morning and all went well. Made to the park and the shit happen. I started to pull out my equipment to get ready to fly and notice 3 of my switches are broken :pissed-off: Throttle hold "H", Flight mode switch "G" and a two way switch, "F" that I don't use. All on the right side. I have know idea what happen but no good. Need to replace them before I can fly any helis :(. I did bring my quads and end up flying them instead. Wasn't a good morning to start off. Oh well, I'll quit my :censored: and just fix the TX switches and have it ready for next time.

Spent 45 minutes lying perfectly still in an MRI machine, I'm not claustrophobic but that was really freaky.
Don't expect any bad news just being tested before being released from a clinical trial I've been on for the last 5 years.

Now working on a Gaui X3 I'm building, I bought a bundle of spares and received almost two complete X3's so decided to re-assemble one, only had to buy a few new parts and add electrics that I had on hand, mucked up something because the geometry on the head is way out. Will pull all the linkages off and start again, I thought I had made them all to spec but obviously not.

Well I went to the nearest Radio Shack by me this afternoon and pick up the switches I needed. I finally finished installing them this evening. I'm ready for my next adventure to the park :). Hopefully soon.

Man you are so lucky! All of our radio shacks shit the bed years ago. There are none left around here. I thought they were completely gone. The only place I could get 500 Km pots for my guitar stuff without buying the "guitar" ones for 40 times the price.

I have a love/hate relationship with the MRI machine. First off, it's a remarkable piece of technology.. Second, I am a bit claustrophobic so all the time I spent in one wasn't fun at all. I have to take a sedative so I will stay still. Freaky indeed!

Hey Tony, what happened to your chickens?
And why are they expensive? I guess I'm trying to ask, what's a good chicken cost?

Radio Shack? say what? Radio shack,, what, what?... :chuckles:

Hey Tony, what happened to your chickens?
And why are they expensive? I guess I'm trying to ask, what's a good chicken cost?
Because my wife decided to hatch them during the most expensive time of the year. From June 1 to Aug 31 my electricity more than doubles between 1500 and 1900. First we have to put them in an incubator to hatch the eggs and that uses a constant 60 watts of power. Once they hatch, they have to be under a heating lamp for over a month until they are fully feathered. This heating lamp is 250 watts. I did the math on this, and just the heating lamp costs $70/mo to run. So for 9 chicks, one of which is not going to make it, it comes out to about $9.00 per chick for those that I think are going to make it. And then you have to factor in how many are going to be roosters which are USELESS. so if 50% are roo's, that price just went up to $18/hen.

You can go to the nearest farm supply like Atwoods and pick out sexed hens for about $6/hen. So yea, this was a very expensive experiment. Not to mention we had to purchase the incubator which adds even more to the price. So we are now coming up with a plan on how to raise the chickens without using massive amounts of electricity. I see a solar setup in our future if we go this way. The only other way is to leave the eggs under the hens and see how they do with them.

At this time, we have 5 roosters in our coop, and we are about to slaughter 4 of them and only leave one. I'm going to enjoy putting those little asshats on my smoker! They beat the crap out of the hens which we have I think 29 of.

so there you go, the most expensive hens in the history of chickens...
