Hello,

If you're on a budget. KST 515 or GDW servos are good. If you want premium servos, MKS

I looked into BK, apparently Bert K doesn't make those servos, he just buys them from someone else in Asia. Also some people have reported that the specs of some of the servos doesn't match it in real life?

You can never take hobby grade equipment seriously. It is only good to compare one thing against another, but never gives a true measurement. For that you would need lab grade which is horribly expensive. But use what you want and can afford. I'm using Align, BK and even ALZRC servos and like them all.

Hello I'm real sorry. I just got back to the hobby recently, it's been a long time and I haven't kept up with the times. I'm a big KST fan. Probably try these:

For sure, always make sure your gyro support the servo frequency. But the most important thing is to set the gyro to the correct frequency of the servo, prior to installing the servo to the gyro. As Some gyros can burn up a servo if the wrong frequency is set.

Yup, you can select the tail frequency in the Ikon. No worries there. Just be sure to set it up before you plug in the tail servo. Crap, it would help if I read instead of skimmed lol. NP already said that lmao.

And just to be clear, KST is a fantastic brand. Reading my previous posts it may come across with me not liking them. They are great servos, pretty much top of the line. And yes, I would put them above Align servos, but that's not saying much now days lol.

I am using KST Servos (cyclic) for last 3 years in 450 size heli and like them.

The KST 215 are really great for cyclics. Some people even use it on a large(380mm) heli tail, I don't recommend but it can be done...

BK servos are made by the company that RJX. Bert basically designed those servos the way he wanted them. He then tested them for months along with a couple pro pilots. BK servos are the business for the money.

If your on a budget and want high end servos then BK is the way to go. You champion at expert servos or even MKS, what You will find is BKs are less expensive.

I own 2 sets of BK, a set of 3000 series and a set of 7000 series. I really like them.

Product testing is subjective to the tester. We do t have the equipment that was used to test the servos. So yes our numbers will be different. Keep in mind that hardware performance has a deviation for the stated specifications. It's due to variance in building materials and accuracy/variance of testing equipment. So Joe tester video maker won't get the exact same numbers as the manufacture.

P.S.
BK DS3000 series servos are designed for 380 class helis. The tail needs to be the 5000 series tail.

Hey namaspliot. If that's you flying in that tight area, Well excellent job :). I fly in a area that tight my self but as for the talent... I DON'T THINK SO! I do have the KST 215mg for cyclic and tail on my 450. Seems to work fine for me. Only if I could fly like that would be wonderful...maybe my next life :(.

Hello,

No that's not me flying that heli, some young pilot is flying it using KST 215 all around. I wouldn't fly my helis that hard, the components would wear out to easily. :D I'm trying to be a more laid back pilot.
