Hello... Newbie Here With Lots Of Questions From New Jersey

I learned a little on how to build when I was 9-13 years old building with my dad. We only built 4 planes and only flew one once before he passed away. I have had these planes in the attic for just under 40 years now. Now after marriage and kids I pulled them back down a few months ago to rebuild and learn to fly. So far I completely rebuilt and recovered the Sig Kadet JR and had a club member fly it for me. What a memorable experience. Now Im working on the Kadet Sr and rebuilding that. Hope to learn to fly with a Horizon Champ S+ before I take any of his planes to the sky...I have lots of learning to do so youll see me asking away...Thanks for allowing me to join

Thanks Anthony

Hi Anthony, welcome to the forum, I can recommend getting a Simulator for the PC and practicing for a while before you fly, I put my brother-in-law on the SIM for two days before I would take him out to fly his new Parkzone Super Cub and he blitzed it first flight, we won't talk about the second flight though.

With the models that have been in storage, check the glued joints I had some in storage 25 years and most of the joints had gone brittle, they became shelf queens until I ran out of room.

Welcome to RCH. That is an awesome story! I hope you can get some video to share on your journey to getting these in the air, as well as the maiden flights of them.
