On our local auction forum there appears to be a glut of Compass Warp 360, I know they are no longer available and parts are getting harder to get, but I've liked that helicopter but just couldn't justify getting one. Then I found one, high end electrics whose resale vale as used parts is higher than the price being asked, which means I'm getting the frame for nothing. When I get it I found the seller had it for 2 years and had never flown it and the original builder/owner had only ever set it up and kept it as a spare, it was pristine. A quick swap out of the BeastX and install an iKon2 a check of all screws and apply some oil and it was hovering in the back yard, can't wait for the weekend.

A deal is a deal.

I didn't realize compass stopped production on the warp. Did they replace it with a new model or did they stop production on that size?

The Warp is still listed in the current products, but they arn't available through any retailers, all list them as out of stock or you can back-order, maybe there will be a new version or model out shortly . I can't find any information on that.

Old stock or un- updated inventory. If you can get so good airframe deals then buy a few. That's what happened when min air went out. People bought up as many airframe they could afford. That way they had spares if needed.

Actually I have just bought a good second hand airframe for just that reason, although there seems no shortage in replacement parts for the Warp.

Bearings won't be an issue ever. Rc bearings has every bearing you could need.

As for the rest. Just keep finding deals and stock up.

Found the full story , basically Compass production is limited to Chronos & Exo 500, the company nearly went to the wall and a lot of the molds and parts were dumped, if you have time read the full story below, I doubt the Warp will ever go back into production and if it does be a completely new design.

I have a buddy who is a Compass rep and the company is in a restructuring process right now so they are not making any kits. If I remember correctly, they should be starting back up next year some time so parts for the 360 should be available again. I am talking to him about getting a Compass for myself. I have always wanted a 360, just never had the funds to do so.
